I would suggest the addition of half a tsp of baking powder to the mixture before forming the balls. This makes it lighter. Give it a try.

Hi Pallavi, your recipe looks great i will definitely give it a shot. can you tell me what alternative can we use for malai since malai is not available in US. can we use heavy cream instead? thanks.

I Myself Was Surprised When I Had My 1St Bite Of This Recipe....My Frnds cant Believe abt Kaddu Magic..!! But Kofta Was Little Hard And Gravy Was Awsm..!!

thanx Pallavi, I was looking for a recipe in which we don t have to fry koftas ---lauki with besan is already cooked so it want be raw in taste i guess!

good recipe, however it will turn out better if the koftas are fried again after the ball have been made..

i think that kofta bolls is again fried in oil oterwise it seems to be raw intaste than adds gravey
