by: rabz of Dhaka, BD

This is the first choice of my kids & in laws, when I ask them which soup???The fragrance of lemon grass, ginger, spring onion & cilantro is breath taking & the hot & sour taste is irresistible.

Hi Satish, you can try lime leaves if you don't have lemon grass that is what I do and it is not that bad.

Hi Sonali, Lemon grass (Gavati chaha) is a green from the grass species and a herb in Asian cuisine. It has a citrus flavor and can be dried and powdered, or used fresh. It is used allot in Thai, Malay, Indonesian recipes. In this recipe fresh is te best. U may ask 4 it in Oriental shops as it is found in abundance. Hope tis helps. Cheers.
