Chicken Fry

chicken marinated in spices & fried deep in oil.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1/2 kg chicken(drumsticks or thigh)
    • 2 green  chillies(chopped)
    • 2 tsp dried fenugreek
    • handful chopped coriander leaves
    • 1 tomato(chopped)
    • 1 onion(chopped)
    • salt to taste
    • pinch of ajinomoto(chinese salt)
    • oil
    • 3-4 black pepper
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 2 cloves
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 2 tsp garam masala powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric

    Directions

     

    1. Wash chicken properly & keep it in one big bowl
    2. Now add all the above mentioned ingredients & 4 tsp oil in chicken.mix it properly.
    3. Cover it & keep it aside for marination atleast for 2 hours.
    4. Now heat a heavy base pan with 3 tp oil.
    5. Add some fenugreek leaves in a heated oil.
    6. Now add marinated chicken in the pan, stir it & cover it.
    7. Allow to cook the chicken on medium heat for 15min or untill it cook.
    8. Once cook remove it from power & serve with rice.

    Hi Kirti..... Thanku for this great recipe... I must say its just YUM YUM...:). I was fasting and was looking for a gud chicken fry recipe for dinner... looking at the ingredients the recipe looked very different n intresting and so i gave ot a try.... i must say i just loveeeeeeeeeddd it... keep up the good job kirti ... and post many more recipes.....
