Goes very well with chapathis or rice .Needs 10 mins cooking time. Hotel-style home preparation. Enjoy!
Ingredients
vegetarian 4 servings
2 cups chopped okra(ladies finger)- wash and wipe dry.
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomato
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp carom seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
5 tsp refined oil
few chopped coriander leaves
few curry leaves
2 tsp salt-to taste
Directions
Shallow fry the okra pieces in 1 tbsp oil and keep it aside.
Add remaining oil to the kadai, splutter carom seeds and cumin seeds, add turmeric powder,chopped onions,curry leaves,coriander leaves and chopped tomatos. Saute well for 3 mins.
Add chilli powder,ginger-garlic paste and salt .Add okra pieces and saute for a min or 2.
