Ingredients vegetarian 20 servings

• 200 ml red grape juice
• 250 g brown sugar
• 350 ml dark rum
• 1.5 litres dry white wine
• 450ml red wine.

Directions

1. Put the grape juice in a saucepan,add the sugar and stir over a gentle heat until the sugar has dissolved completely.
2. Stir in the dark rum and set aside.
3. Pour the white wine and red wine into a large saucepan and heat until hot, but not boiling.
4. Add the rum and grape juice mixture and stir together.
   
5. Serve hot.
