vegetable cutlets

a tasty snack!!

deep fried patties for indulgence....served with tomato ketchup will make u ask for more!!

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 300 g potatoes
    • 100 g carrots
    • 100 g/5-6 florets cauliflower
    • 50 g green peas
    • 50 g french beans
    • 1/2 bunch coriander
    • 2 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 3-4 tbsp cornflour
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
    • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. pressure cook potatoes with a little salt
    2. cut the carrots,beans and cauliflower to very small pieces and parboil with green peas adding salt and the red chilli powder.
    3. when the vegetables are cooked and dry,mash the potatoes and mix with rest of the vegetables.
    4. add ginger garlic paste and chopped coriander and 2tsp of cornflour.
    5. mix well to make dough like and make small patties and keep aside.
    6. stir in cornflour with water to make a thick consistency.
    7. dip the patties and toss into bread crumbs and deep fry.
    8. serve hot with tomato ketchup.
