Lavanya - it is a indeed a tasty recipe. The same version of snack is also called as Golle Bajji (served with coconut chutney) in Mangalore, Karnataka which is served during the evening tea time. The only variation is that instead of curd, soar butter milk is used along with 1/2 teaspoon of soda bi carb and cut green chillies (optional), and left for 2 hours. These bajji’s when fried has a beautiful texture - crispy outside while soft and spongy within. You can dig on more than 6 to 8 piece if you are not calorie conscious.
