Chicken n paneer masala

A perfect side dish to serve. The taste of chicken and paneer blends very well.

A tasty blend of marinated chicken and paneer with sauteed capsicum ( Green bell peppers). A perfect side dish to eat with naan.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    1lb   -  Chicken bonelss pieces in cubes

    14oz -  Paneer ( cut in cubes )

    2     -   Green Bell peppers/ Capsicum ( cut in cubes, med size )

    1 tsp - Jeera

    3-4 ps - curry leaves

    2 -3 Tbsp oil for cooking.

    For the Marinade :

    1tsp - Vinegar

    1/2 cup - chopped tomatoes

    1/2 cup - chopped onions

    1Tbsp - olive oil

    1tsp - salt ( to taste )

    1tsp -  lemon juice

    2 - chopped serrano chillies

    1 - bay leaf

    a few - Basil leaves

    3 - cloves of garlic

    (blend all the marinade ing together)

     

     

    Directions

    Make the Marinade : Blend all the ing for the marinade and make sauce out of it. If needed add lemon juice to blend in for the marinde consistancy.

    1. Wash and clean the chicken. The chicken should be in cubes. Drain and keep aside.
    2. Cut paneer in cubes and keep aside.
    3. Mix the chicken and the paneer cubes in the marinade mix and refrigirate for 1 hr.
    4. Cut Green bell peppers/ capsicum in cubes and keep aside.
    5. Heat oil and add Jeera and curry leaves and fry for 1 min till a little dark. Add in the chicken and paneer cubes. On medium flame, fry the paneer and chicken well, till done. If needed add few tsp of oil so that the paneer does not stick to the bottom. Fry till chicken is cooked and paneer nicley browned.
    6. check if salt is ok, if not then add 1/2tsp and mix well.
    7. Add the Green pepper cubes and fry for 2 min till crisply done.
    8. Serve hot with Naan.
