Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings


    • tuar dal-100gm
    • broken chana dal or kadalai paruppu-50gm
    • turmeric powder-1/4tsp
    • chilli powder-1.75tsp
    • dhania powder-2.5 tsp
    • chest bone of lamb-1/4kg
    • green chilli-2 
    • mango-1/2cup
    • drumstick-2
    • brinjal-5nos
    • ginger,garlic paste-1/2tsp
    • cinnamon powder-1pinch
    • tomato-2
    • tamarind paste-1/4 tsp
    • gingelly il-50gms
    • salt-reqrd amt
    • small onion-100gm
    • mustard seeds-1/2tsp
    • curry leaves-15nos
    • chopped coriander leaves-2tsp
    • water-1000to1250ml

    Directions

    • boil dals,tomatoes.bones.turmeric powder,water and cook well .
    • add vegitables,g.chillies.masala powders,salt,ginger garlic paste to the above .
    • cook untill it done.add tamarind paste.keep aside immediatly.
    • heat oil in a vessel,add mustard seeds,onions.curry leaves.saute well.
    • add the above mixture with this.
    • just heat it.dont allow it to boil.
    • put off fire.add coriander leaves and mix well.
    • serve with briyani,idli,dosai.
