Crisp chilli potaoes

A tasty dish. Can be served as starters

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 2/3 big sized potatoes
    • ½ tsp chilli sauce
    • 1/2 tsp chopped green chillies
    • 1/2 tsp garlic sauce
    • 1/2 tsp soya sauce
    • 1/2 tsp tomato ketchup
    • 1/4 tsp cornflour
    • 1 tsp Honey
    • 1 tsp olive oil
    • oil for frying


    1. Peel the potatoes and make thin slices of it
    2. Par boil these slices along with salt and water
    3. Remove the water and pat dry the slices
    4. deep fry these par boiled dried slices
    5. In a sauce pan heat olive oil
    6. To this add all the sauces mentioned above
    7. To this add cornflour mixed with water
    8. When the mixture starts boiling add 1tsp honey
    9. Mix the fried potato slices with this sauce
    10. Serve immediately

    Tip: Par boiling the poatatoes in salt water before frying makes them more crisp.

    this seems to be a dish with gravy. what do u suggest should be given with it? rice? or can it be eaten without anything. ( as astarter as u have mentioned.)
