A tasty recipe of pumpkin, which is very healthy for kids.
Ingredients
vegetarian 2 servings
1/2 kg pumpkin (Cut it into small pieces)
1-2 onions (Cut it into small pieces or grate it)
1 tablespoon Methe
Ginger - garlic paste
Salt, red chilli powder to taste
1 tablespoon Garam masala
1 tablespoon Amchoor
2 tablespoon sugar
3-4 spoons ghee
Directions
Add 2 spoons ghee in a cooker.
Add methe into it, after 2 minutes add onions.
When they turn into light brown colour, add ginger garlic paste.
Then add pumpkin pices to it.
Add salt, red chilli, garam masala to it.
After 2-3 whistles, open the cooker and mash it properly.
Then add amchoor, sugar and remaining ghee into it.
Cook it for another 8-10 minutes, but dont cover it this time.
Serve it hot with chapati.
Everybody in your family will love it but dont tell ur kids that it is pumpkin, as kids generally hate pumpkin but it is very healthy for them. So give some fancy name to it and serve it.
