vegetable oil -1/4 cup
whole dry red chillies-2
one large onion,
1 tablespoon red chili powder,
2 1/2 tsp. salt,
1 1/2 cup kidney beans (soaked overnight ),
water 2 cups,
garam masala 1/2 tsp.
grind ginger and garlic into a paste.
heat oil in cooker for about 2 minutes. add chillies .stir for a few seconds.
Add onions and fry till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste.
Stir for a few seconds. add tomatoes, chili powder and salt.
Cook till tomatoes are pulpy and oil shows seperately (approx.5 min).
Add beans and water. Stir.
Close cooker and bring to full pressure on high heat.
Reduce heat and cook for 20 minutes.
Remove cooker from heat. Allow to cool naturally.
Open cooker and add garam masala. serve hot.
