Very tasty with piping hot rice
¼ kg Red ripe tomatoes
1 medium size onion ( finely Chopped)
1/2 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp salt
10 green chillies, slit
¼ cup water
1 pinch turmeric powder
3 tsp oil
Heat oil and add chopped onions, slit green chillies, turmeric powder .
Fry them till onion become soft.
Now add tomatoes and cook them for 5 mins on low flame.
now add salt and cook them for 15 mins on low flame with occasional stirring.
add chilli powder and fry for 1 min.
Now add water and cook for 5 mins on high flame.
serve hot with piping hot rice or chappattis.
