Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


      • 1/2 c basmati rice
      • 1 c water
      • 4 cups milk ( make milk out of powder for best results)
      • 1 c sugar
      • 1 can condensed milk
      • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
      • 1/4 c crushed Almonds

       

      • silver pani  & nuts for decoration.
      2 tbsp rose water + 1/4 tsp of crushed Saffron( combined together

    Directions

      • 1. wash the rice & boil in water with cardamom powder until very tender.

      2. Remove from heat & blend slightly with a hand blender.

      3.Pour the milk , sugar, almonds & condensed milk & cook until the kheer  thickens 

      4. Remove from heat & allow to it to cool slightly, add the saffron & rose water & stir to combine.

      5. Decorate before refrigerating over night.

       6. Serve chilled.

       

      * This Kheer is quite sweet u can adjust the sweetness to you taste.
