Small puffed puris

Making puris for pani pur is always a challenge. Here is how you do it.

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    4 cups fine suji 1 tsp. salt oil for deep frying

    Directions

    1. Mix the salt and the suji and add water little by little to form a dough.
    2. The dough should not be very soft. Make a dough and cover it with cling wrap or a moist kitchen towel so that the dough does not dry.
    3. Leave the dough for at least 2-3 hours, so as to soften the suji.
    4. Make balls of the dough and roll each ball into a thin roti.
    5. Make smaller puris with a cookie cutter or a small katori.
    6. Heat the oil in a kadhai and fry the puris on a slow to medium flame until golden brown in colour.
    7. Store the puris in a air tight container. Will last upto 2-3 days.

    if you dont have time to keep the dough for 1-2 hrs then leave it for 10-15 min and make small balls and press them in roti maker and fry thm immidatly. it also turns out crispy and in less time.

    This receipe is only for the puri can u give me the receipe of how to make pani of pani-puri. Puri you get easily in the market but making pani is the problem.

    this recipe is not perfect.u take 3 cups of suji &1 cup of meda dont add salt.
