Pepper Fish

I FEEL IT IS A TASTY RECIPE, NOT THE USUAL TYPE. MY PERSONAL CHOICE. I BET U WILL LIKE IT TOO.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 250 GMS. Rohu Fish
    • 2 cups Onions (chopped)
    • 6 cloves Garlic
    • ½ tsp. Turmeric
    • 1½ tbsp. ground pepper
    •  1 Potato
    • 1 small bunch Spinach
    • 1 cup Mustard oil
    • Salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Cut the rohu fish into small pieces after cleaning. apply salt and turmeric to it and fry the pieces in mustard oil till slightly brown. keep aside.
    2. Wash spinach leaves and chop.
    3. Heat 2 tbsp. mustard oil and fry the onions till brown. add chopped spinach and pieces of potato and fry.
    4. Add the turmeric and fry for another 2 min.
    5. Add 3 cups of hot water and bring to boil. add salt to taste and the fried fish pieces and simmer.
    6. Meanwhile grind the garlic and pepper to a smooth paste.
    7. When the potatoes are cooked and the gravy thickens, add the paste to it.
    8. Simmer for another 3 min.
    9. Serve hot with plain rice.
