Prawns in egg white batter.

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    1/2 kg prawns (de-vein and washed)

    FOR MARINATION

    • salt to taste
    • ½ tsp black pepper powder
    • ½ tsp crushed jeera
    • 1 tsp crushed garlic
    • 1 tsp red chilly powder
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice


    FOR THE BATTER

    • 2 egg whites
    • salt
    • 2 tbsps corn flour (maizena)
    • Oil for frying

    Directions

    1. Mix all the ingredients of the marinade and marinate the prawns for 3-4 hours.
    2. Make a  batter and dip each prawn into it. Deep fry few at a time till crisp.
    3. Serve hot with sauce of your choice, fries and salads.
