Malay Chicken

this is non veg dish and easy ,fast to cook.in this recipe you can make the masala one time and use it again and again to save time

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 Kg chicken (boneless)
    • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
    • 2 tbsp Jeera
    • 1 tbsp black pepper
    • 1/2 cup kasoori methi
    • 1 tbsp dry coriander
    • 2-3 sticks of cinnamon
    • 2 cups fresh cream (malai)
    • 2 green chillies
    • 1 cup  milk
    • 2 tsp cornflour
    •  salt according to taste

    Directions

    1. Dry roast jeera, coriander, kasoori methi, cinnamon, black pepper and cool it then grind to make masala powder.
    2. Now in a karahi put some oil/ghee and golden brown onions, then put chillies.
    3. When turns pink put malai, milk and chicken and cook it on medium flame also put masala made first about 3 tbsp.
    4. When this comes to boil, put salt, some more masala and then cook on low flame.
    5. When chicken done, put cornflour mixed in cold milk then cook again to make the gravy thick.
    6. Cook for 2-3 min and serve hot with rice /butter naan/chapati.
