kaddu ki kheer

a nice variation of kheer

it tastes very good everybody who ever tasted t wanted more of it.


  • 1 litre milk
  • 1/2 bottle gourd ( kaddu)
  • 1 cup saabu dana (soaked in water for 30 min)
  • sugar as per sweetnes liked
  • 4-5 almonds
  • 4 tbsp condensed milk.
  • 1/2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2 drops pineapple essence (opt)
  • khoya (optional)



  1. Shred kaddu n pressure cook for 2-3 whistles  keep aside.
  2. Heat milk , add kaddu . add saabu dana in milk n cook till done.
  3. meanwhile grind almonds corasle
  4. Add almonds sugar cornflour and khoya mix well.
  5. Add condensed milk , and essence.
  6. keep stirring for a few min. 
  7. Let it cool in refrigerator.
  8. serve cold.
