Paneer Bhurji

Sauteed cottage cheese

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/4 kg paneer pieces
    • 3 tbsps butter
    • 2 tbsps cashewnuts pieces
    • 1/4 kg tomatoes (chopped)
    • 1 tsp red chillipowder
    • Salt
    • 1 big capsicum(chopped)
    • 1 tsp ginger paste
    • 1 tsp green chilly paste
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala.
    • Oil for deep frying

    Directions

    1. Deep fry paneer pieces slightly and crumble with hands.
    2. Heat 2 tbsps butter and saute crumbled panner.
    3. Add salt and cashewnuts,keep stirring for 10 mins,keep aside.
    4. In another saucepan,heat remaining butter and saute capsicums for 1 min,add tomatoes and all masalas.Mix well
    5. Add paneer and corriander leaves, saute  for 4 mins.
    6. Remove from fire and serve hot.
