A CHEESY MUTTON DISH

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1½ Kg Mutton (small pieces)
    • 4 tbsp. Cheese powder
    • 2 Eggs
    • 2 tbsp. Raisins
    • 2 Tbsp. Soya sauce
    • 1 tsp. Chilli powder
    • 2 Green Chillies, slit lengthwise
    • a handful of mint and coriander leaves
    • 2 Onions
    • 2 Tomatoes, chopped fine
    • 6 cloves Garlic
    • 1 inch piece ginger
    • 2 inch stick cinnamon
    • 3 Cloves
    • 2 large cups Milk
    • Salt to taste
    • Butter or oil for frying

    Directions

    1. Slice the onions, ginger and garlic very fine. fry till brown. add soya sauce, chilli powder, salt, raisins, tomatoes, cinnamon, cloves, green chillies and chese powder and fry for 5 minutes on slow fire. when all the ingredients are well blended, add the eggs and scramble them with the mixture.
    2. Add the meat, coriander, mint and fry till the meat is coated with the mixture. add the milk and cook on slow fire till the meat is tender and the milk is all used up. more milk or water may be added if meat is not cooked. garnish with finely chopped celery.

    Hey i like to try new recipes everytime, and thanks to this site i have already tried ied many, and i would lik eto try this cheese mutton recipe,but i dont know what abt this 'cheese powder', what is this cheese powder and where can we buy this Thanks
