Daal with mix vegetables

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 cup arhar daal
    • 1 tomato
    • 3-4 lady finger (okra)
    • 1 potato
    • 1-2 small brinjals
    • 2  small cutt pieces of pumpkin
    • 1 tsp imli
    • salt to taste
    • red chilli powder to taste
    • 1/2 tsp haldi  powder
    • 2-3 green chillies
    • 2 table spoon oil
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds


    1. Cut all the vegetables into small pieces.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds on it.
    3. Now fry all the vegetables on it and fry for at least 15 min on low flame.
    4. Now boil arhar daal and add salt, red chili powder, haldi powder on it before boiling.
    5. After boiling its a time to add all fried vegetables and imli pulp  on it and cover the lid of pressure cooker for 5 minutes.
    6. After 5 min you can put tadka on daal or leave it as it is.
    7. Serve with hot boiled rice or jeera rice.
