Pudina Aloo

Mint flavoured fried potatoes

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 8 large potatos (boiled and peeled)
    • 1/4 cup finely chopped pudina/mint leaves
    • 1/4 cup chopped dhania powder
    • 1 tsp chaat masala
    • 1/4 tsp garam masala
    • 2 green chilly chopped
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • pinch of asafoetida
    • 1/2 tsp dhania powder
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 1 lemon juice

    Directions

    1. Boil and peel potatos, and cut into 1 inch cubes
    2. Heat oil in a wok, put jeera, asafoetida and chopped green chilly, fry a little then aloo immediately.
    3. Put pudia, salt and all masala, and fry till potatos are light brown.
    4. Put chopped dhania and lemon juice, mix well.
    5. Serve as a side dish.
