Tomato's dip

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 kg fresh ripe Tomato
    • salt
    • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
    • 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
    • 2 tsp vinegar
    • 1/2 tsp ajinomoto
    • 1/4 tsp green chillies paste
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
    • 1/4 cup imli ka pani (soak tamarind and strain water)
    • 2 tsp oil

    Directions

    1. Cut tomatoes in half and bake them for about 5-6 mins to soften. Peel them and blend well
    2. Heat oil in a pan add ginger & garlic paste and saute
    3. Now pour tomatos paste in pan and cook on medium heat
    4. Add all spices and vinegar
    5. Keep cooking till bubbles appear
    6. Lower the flame, add imli ka pani and simmer it for about 5-6 mins
    7. Serve with samosa, pakora or toasts
