Prepare this ahead for making bisibele bhat anytime. Very famous South Indian dish of dal & rice.

Thanks for ur comments but i dont understd why u ppl r giving suggestions of adding vegetables to it. This is not Bisibele bath dish but only the Spice mix(powder).

Add more tomatoes with other vegetables while mixing bisibelle bath powder with rice and toordal. "bisi" means hot in south indian language.So while cold it doesn't taste good. To improve its taste decorate it with lot of potato wafers or (swallow fried pova for diet conscious people)

a little jakai and khus khus added will better the taste.add khu khus to the wok after putting of fire and jakai before frying. season the end product with pure ghee+mustard+chopped capsicum+chopped onions+curry leaves. u will prepare this dish again and again
