Corriander chutney

A very simple accompaniment that is tasty and carminative

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 1 cup chopped corriander leaves
    • 5-6 green chillies
    • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/4 " jaggary
    • 1/4 tsp lemon juice
    • salt to taste
    • 3 tbsp of oil


    1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds, green chillies and corriander leaves.
    2. Fry till cumin seeds turn dark. Cool, grind along with salt, jaggary and lemon juice.
    3. Serve as a side dish or with Idlies, Dosas and chapatis
