Put all ingredient (except baghaar) in a pan with water and let it cook on low heat till daal is tender and half quantity of water is still there. Alternatively you can use a pressure cooker
Blend daal with a hand blender
Heat oil n add cinnamon sticks black pepper n cloves
Add onion and fry till light brown
Add garlic and zeera and fry for 1 minute
Add curry leaves and fry for 30 seconds
Pour baghaar on top of daal and let it cook for 2-3 minutes
Give smoke of coal for at least 10 minutes
Remove the coal from daal and garnish with corriander
