Moong and Palak Daal

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup green moong daal (gota)
    • 1 1/2 cup palak (chopped)
    • 1/2 cup tomato (chopped)
    • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
    • 1 tsp green chilli (chopped)
    • 1 tsp garlic (chopped)
    • 1 tsp ginger (chopped)
    • 1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
    • 1 1/2 tbsp ghee
    • 1/2 tsp haldi powder
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
    • 1/2 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tsp kasuri methi
    • salt to taste 

    Directions

    1. Wash and soak moong daal for at-least half hour.
    2. Now in a cooker add daal, haldi powder, salt, palak with water and let it cook till daal is tender and half quantity of water is still there.
    3. Now in a pan heat ghee add kasuri methi, onion, garlic, ginger and green chilli fry it for 2-3 min then add tomato and sugar.
    4. After a min add the cooked daal, garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
    5. Serve hot with chapati

    I think Farah is having a inferiority complex, if someone has posted her recipe as well as photo, no need to criticize her innocent act and shouldn't have made big fuss about all, instead she should have sent her own photo along with her own talent to be praised if she possess any. So, Bhabhi ! carry on with your nice recipes and don't get discouraged by this typical Indian jealousy being.
