Mini Onion Pakoras

THIS SNACK IS SIMILAR TO REGULAR ONION PAKORAS BUT HAS A DIFFERENCE IN THE METHOD WHICH MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 Cups Gram flour (Besan)
    • 2  onions (chopped)
    • 2 green chillies(chopped)
    • 2 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • salt
    • cilantro (chopped)

    Directions

    1. Make a batter using gram flour, green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Add the cilantro leaves and mix well.
    2. To the above batter, add the chopped onions and mix well. Ensure that the batter is now covered  with chopped onions totally. 
    3. Meanwhile get the oil ready for frying the pakoras. 
    4. With a spoon, pour the batter one by one into the oil. Quickly turn them and remove them from the oil. This is a very crucial step. Dont keep the pakoras in the oil longer.
    5. Now one by one from this semi cooked pakora, take small small pieces and deep fry. Mini onion pakoras are ready to eat.
    Note: The semi cooked pakora would be hot. So be careful while taking the small pieces.
