Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs in Parsi Style

Dish goes perfectly well with bread or paratha, a healthy and wholesome breakfast dish.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

    • 6 Eggs
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 1 tsp Jeera
    • 1 tsp ginger chopped
    • 2 medium onion chopped
    • 1 large tomato chopped
    • 2 green chilly chopped
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
    • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
    • 2 tsp coriender chopped
    • 1 tbsp roasted peanut, coarsely ground
    • salt to taste 


    1. Whisk egg with salt and milk.
    2. In a pan heat oil and put jeera to crackle, add chopped onion, green chilly to saute for 2 minutes add tomatos and saute for a while.
    3. Add all powder masala and mix well.
    4. Now pour eggs and saute till eggs are done, stirring continuously. Eggs should be dry.
    5. Garnish with chooped coriender leaves and serve hot with chutney of your choice with bread / paratha over a hot cup of coffee.
