Pepper Mutton

a combination of pepper n tomatoes

Ideal for mutton lover

Ingredients non vegetarian 6 servings

    • 1 kg mutton
    • 4 large tomatoes finely chopped
    • 3 tsp ginger/garlic/green chilli paste
    • 2 tsp vinegar
    • 1 tsp salt or as per taste
    • 3 tbs ketchup
    • 3 onions
    • 4 tbs oil
    • 1 tsp pepper  (can add more if u want a real tangy flavor)
    • 1/2 cup chopped corriander


    1. Boil mutton with ginger, garlic,green chilli paste with atleast 4 cups water on low heat till it is tender and 1/2 cup stock still remaining
    2. Blend onion in chopper and squeeze out all water from it
    3. Heat oil in a pan and add onion and fry for 2 min till its raw smell is completely gone
    4. Add tomatoes,pepper, salt, vinegar and stir for 2 min.
    5. Add stock n let it cook for 4-5 min on low heat till tomatoes are completely tender
    6. Stir tomatoes well till they form a smooth paste
    7. Add mutton and ketchup and cook for another 3-4 minutes
    8. Dish out in a shallow bowl n decorate with corriander
    9. Serve with nan or home made rotis

        Note: Can even add french fries while serving
