Chicken Pulav

Instant chicken pulav

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 kg chicken cut into small pieces
    • 2 cups long grains basmati rice (preferably with aroma)
    • 3 onions 
    • 10-12 green chilly
    • 5-6 Garlic cloves
    • 1 inch ginger
    • 15 - 20 mint leaves
    • 1 cup curd
    • 1 tsp Jeera
    • 3-4 green cardamon
    • 3-4  1/2 inch cinamon stick
    • 3-4 gloves
    • 2-3 bay leaves
    • 3-4 black pepper
    • 2 tsp garam masala powder
    • 4 tsp Rose water
    • 5-6 tps cooking oil
    • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. First  wash the chicken, and marinate it ginger-garlic and green chilly paste also add to it one cup of curd, little salt, and keep it in freeze for 2 to 3 hrs.
    2. Now while making pulav, soak rice in water, in a thick bottom vessel add oil and fry the onions till slightly golden, add all khada masala fry it for 2 -3 mins, then add the marinated chicken, and mix well, keep stirring occasionally till the chicken is tender and slightly brown.
    3. Mean while boil water and keep aside,  Now add the rice give a gentle stir and then add the hot water mix again well again. 
    4. When water is slightly reduce add garam masala ,  mint leaves and rose water and close the lid, sim the flame and let it dum for 20 mins.
    5. Yummy chicken Pulav is ready it can be served with chilled cucumber raita
