Sautee Lamb

Its easy and tasty hope you all love it as much as i did.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 lb lean lamb, preferably boned leg, cubed
    • 3 table spoon butter
    • 4 tomatoes skinned and chopped
    • 4 thick slices of bread, crust removed
    • 1 cup yogurt
    • 2 garlic cloves crushed
    • salt & freshly ground pepper to tast
    • paprika and mint leaves to garnish.

    for the marinade:

    • half cup yogurt
    • 1 large onion grated. 


    1. First, make the marinade, blend together the yogurt , onion and a little seasoning in a large bowl.
    2. add the cubed meat to the marinade (half cup yogurt & 1 onion grated) cover with a a film and leave in a cool place for 1hr to marinate.
    3. Melt half the butter in a frying pan and fry the meat for 5-10min until tender but still moist.
    4. transfer to a plate with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
    5. melt the remaining butter int he same pan and fry the tomatoes for 4-5min until soft.
    6. meanwhile lightly toast the bread and arrange in the bottom of a shallow serving dish.
    7. season the tomatoes and then spread over the toasted bread in an even layer. Blend with yogurt & garlic and season with pepper.  Spoon over the tomatoes
    8. Arrange the meat in a layer on top.
    9. Sprinkle with paprika and mint leaves and serve at once.
