Ingredients
vegetarian 6 servings
6 nos. Tomato
1 no. Onion
½ kg Spinach
100 gms. Cheese, grated
½ tsp Nutmeg, powdered
Butter to taste
Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
bunch Vegetable Oil, to saute
Directions
Wash tomatoes and cut a little lid off the top of each one. Remove the flesh from the tomatoes, using a sharp spoon.
Wash spinach and cook in lightly salted water for a few minutes, drain.
Soak it in cold water then squeeze out and drain well.
Gently fry diced onion and spinach in a little oil, then season with salt and pepper and nutmeg.
Fill the hollowed-out tomatoes with the spinach mixture, sprinkle with grated cheese and melted butter, then bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for around 15 mins.
