this lip-smacking roadside chaat can be made in minutes in your microwave

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 4 ladi pavs
    • 2 tbsp butter


    for the masala

    • 1 cup onions, chopped
    • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped
    • ¼ cup capsicum, chopped
    • 2 tsp finely chopped garlic
    • 2 tsp finely chopped ginger
    • 1 tsp finely chopped green chilli
    • a pinch turmeric powder (haldi)
    • 1 tsp chilli powder
    • 1 tsp black salt (optional)
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • salt to taste

    to garnish

    • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
    • onion rings
    • lemon wedges

    Directions

    1. In a microwave safe bowl combine the oil, onions and garlic and microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes.
    2. Add the tomatoes, ginger, green chilli, turmeric powder, chilli powder and black salt and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
    3. Add the capsicum and salt and microwave on HIGH for another 2 minutes.
    4. Divide the masala mixture into 4 equal parts.
    5. Cut each pav horizontally into 2.
    6. Apply 1 teaspoon of butter on each slice of pav.
    7. Spread the masala mixture on top and microwave on HIGH for 20 seconds.
    8. Garnish with the chopped coriander and serve with onion rings and lemon wedges.

    ya..u can put desi ghee if u want..it's per your taste..

    Hi! this is really yum recepie can also be made without micro to mk it more enjoyable u cld increase the quantity of masala and after spreading it inside the pav also spread over it trust me u'll love it.but for best taste serve immediately after it is made .
