a spicy and a heavy breakfast that will keep u going through the day with its lingering taste

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 2 cups whole mung dal
    • 1 cup split mung dal
    • 1/4 cup rice
    • 3-4 green chillies
    • 2 tsp jeera
    • 1 inch ginger
    • 2 onions(finely chopped)
    • 2 tsp curry leaves
    • 2 tsp coriander leaves
    • salt to taste



    1. Soak moong dal and rice atleast for 3 to 4 hours
    2. Grind to paste along with ginger, green chillies and jeera making a smooth batter by adding water
    3. Heat dosa tava, and pour the batter with a ladle to make thin pancakes.
    4. Sprinkle finely chopped onions,curry leaves and coriander leaves.
    5. Serve hot with ginger chutney.
