Fish fillet fry

a tasty fry and a great starter at a party.also good as an evening snack for kids when they return from school.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 250 gms fish
    • ½ tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 whole garlic or 7-8 pods
    • a handfull of coriander leaves
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 tsp of lemon juice
    • bread crumbs
    • 1tblspn cornflour

    Directions

    1. Cut fish into fillets.
    2. Grind garlic, pepper, coriander into a fine paste
    3. Marinate the fish adding the paste along with red chilli powder, turmeric, salt and lemon juice for at 1/2 hr.
    4. Mix cornflour into water. Dip the marinated fillet into the corn flour and bread crumbs and shallow fry.
    5. Serve hot with mayonaise or tartar sauce
