Aloo tikka

Smashed aloo tkka

tasty and can be prepared very quickly

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 2 big sized boiled potatoes
    • 1 tsp of pach phuton
    • 1-2 sukha lankas ( whole red chillies)
    • 4-5  tsp of posto ( poppy seeds)
    • oil to shallow fry
    • salt to taste



    1. Smash the boiled potates and add salt to taste.
    2. Now in a wok put liitle oil and heat it. Then add the panch phuton and sukha lanka into.
    3. When it starts crackling ,take it out from the fire and pour it on the aloo.
    4. Now mix them well and make tikis in hands by putting little bit of water.
    5. Pour the posto on a paper and roll the tikka into it so that it forms a coating over the tikka and now shallow fry on tawa.
    6. Serve when it is cooled with your favorite chutney.

    Note: First dry fry the tikka on the tawa and then add oil, otherwise the posto will come off.




    I dont think that it is a good recipe for aaloo kabab or tikki coz with whole red chillies how can we make tikkis.
