Gawar beans

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • ½ kg Gawar boiled
    • 2 tomatoes chopped
    • 2-3 pieces of garlic
    • 1 tsp coriander powder
    • ½ tsp red chilies
    • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
    • Salt to taste
    • Amchur powder
    • 2-3 tbsp of cooking oil


    1. Cut gawar to one inch and boil it.
    2. Take some oil in kadai, add garlic cut in small pieces.
    3. Now add boiled gawar, tomatoes, coriander powder, red chilies, salt, amchur powder and turmeric powder.
    4. Mix well, close the lid and leave it for 5-7 minutes till tomatoes are cooked.
    5. Smash it little so that the water gets dry properly, cook for 2 minutes and serve hot with chapattis.
