a very authentic mutton dish and is prepared with the best of spices to enhance its taste.....
Ingredients
non vegetarian 4 servings
500 gms mutton ribs with meat
3 tsps onion fried onion paste
2 tomatoe finely chopped
2 green chillies
1 tsp dhaniya
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp pepper
7-8 whole red chillies
3 tsps coconut grated
1 1/2 tsp saunf
5 cloves
1 inch cinnamon
2 green cardamom
1/2 tsp dry ginger powder
1 strand of mace
3 tsps ginger garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 black cardamom
few curry leaves
salt to taste
Directions
Dry roast dhaniya, jeera, pepper, saunf, red chillies, cloves, cinnamon and green cardamom with the grated coconut and grind to powder.
Heat oil in a kadai, add balck cardamon, mace,green chillies, ginger garlic paste.
Then add curry leaves and tomatoes and fry till tomatoes get soft.
Add the turmeric, and the mutton and fry well adding the ground masala powder and ginger powder and the onion paste. keep frying well till the mutton is well cooked adding little water.
Fry well till the entire masala is dry and well coated.
