Directions
                
- Wash and separate mint leaves and keep them aside.
 - Take a pan, add little oil and put chana dal and red chilies in it. After a few seconds, add the mint leaves and salt.
 - Cool and blend for two minutes. Finally, add putani or roasted chana dal and tamarind juice.
 - Adjust salt and water for your taste.
 
Note: do not put the stem of the mint as it spoils the whole dish.
