This dish is eaten in winter season with hot rice

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings

    250 grams of green peas( Coarsely ground 175 grams of peas) 1 onion 6 cloves of garlic 1 small peice of ginger 2 ripe tomatoes 2 tsp garam masala 4 tsp of oil 1 cup of water salt to taste


    1. Chop the onions, garlic and ginger.
    2. In a pan put oil and fry the chopped ingredients untill light brown.
    3. Now add the peas paste to the oil. Fry for 10 minutes.
    4. Add tomatoes, salt, garam masala and rest of the whole peas.
    5. Stir for 10 minutes. Add water and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
    6. Serve with hot rice.

    The dish is definitely very tasty and lip smacking. But i have an additional variant to it. Instead of adding the tomatoes later add them with the ground peas. The tomatoes get cooked better and mix in well. Excellent option for a fast but tasty dish..
