Mango jelly souffle

an excellent dessert made from the king of fruits....enjoy the summers with it's sweetness.you may serve this with generous pieces of mango and vanilla ice cream if you wish

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 ripe mango(pureed)
    • 300 ml milk
    • 2 egg yolk
    • powdered sugar to taste
    • 1 tbsp or 10gms gelatin
    • 1 tbsp fresh cream
    • 1 pack of mango jelly
    • 3-4 drops of vanilla essence
    • few pieces of finely sliced mango

    Directions

    1. mix the milk and egg yolks and blend well in mixer.
    2. cook this mixture on simmer to make a thin custard stiring continuously
    3. add powdered sugar,fresh cream and the essence
    4. melt the gelatin and add to this mixture along with the mango puree.
    5. add the finely cut mango pieces also
    6. prepare jelly and pour a layer on your dish used to set your dessert.
    7. As soon as it sets,pour the prepared custard mixture over it.
    8. place in refrigerator for few minutes till it is chilled and partially set.
    9. add the rest of the jelly as you wish to glace the top.
