Tomato Egg Drop Soup

This is a yummy tomato soup for egg lovers

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


     
    • 6 Tomatoes (Finely chopped/paste) 
    • 1 Onion (Finely chopped)
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tbsp Oil
    • 1 1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup
    • 1/2 tsp ajinamoto
    • 1 tsp vinegar
    • 2 tbsp Butter
    • 2 green Chillies
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp Corn flour
    • few Coriander leaves
    • 1 tsp Cream for garnishing
    • Black Pepper powder to taste
    • Salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Fry finely chopped onions in a pan till golden brown.
    2. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir for a minute.
    3. Now add tomatoes and saute it. Add tomato ketchup, ajinamoto, vinegar and salt to taste. saute it for a minute and add water and bring it to boil.
    4. Mix cornflour in water and add it to the soup to make it thick.
    5. Beat egg in a bowl and drop it from a height and keep stirring the soup at the same time.
    6. Remove the soup from flame and garnish it with coriander leaves, and butter. Serve hot.
