Broccoli-Onion Cutlet

deep/Shallow fried patties

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 15 florets Broccoli
    • 1 boiled Potato
    • 1 chopped Onion
    • 2 tsp Garam Masala powder
    • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 1/2 cup Bread Crumb
    • 2 tblsp chopped Cilantro (coriander leaves)
    • Salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Boil the Broccoli florets with little salt for 5 mins. Cool & finely chop them.
    2. In a bowl, add chopped Broccoli, mashed Potato, Onion, Garam Masala, Red chilli, Salt & Lemon juice. Mix well.
    3. Add 2 tblsp of bread Crumb & Cilantro. Mix well.
    4. Heat a pan. Make round balls of the mixture & lightly press on your palm. Roll the in Bread Crumbs & shallow fry. These patties can also be deep fried. Serve hot with Mint chutney & Tomato sauce.
