kasturi methi is dried Fenugreek leaves and whole zeera is Cumin Seeds and i dont recommend any alternate ingredients, well if you dont find these try making aloo rotis without using them Roshan... thanks.
What is kastoori methi, and whole zeera? I found your recipi and looks yummy, but can you explain in english what are those? can i use some alternate ingredients if i can't find them?

Dear Sarah Patel,Aloo paratha is stuffing aloo mixture inside the dough.it consumes more oil or ghee.slightly thicker.Aloo roti is while kneading the dough itself aloo and other spices are added and altogether kneaded and make roti.
is there any difference ?? between aloo parathaa and aloo roti ?
coz my mother makes ALOO paratha in this way too .
btw .. it is tasty :) i tried it out
its tasty...adding 2 spoon of gram flour(besan) make it little crispy
add finely chopped onion and garlic it enhances the taste
I enjoyed Aloo roti with tea i like it.
thanks for another good n easy receipe....this was tasty too as ur butter chicken...it was difficult for me to roll out the stuffed aloo in bread but as this is mixed in dough i really enjoyed making it n all of us like it too as ur brother :-)
Dolli its aloo paratha that you stuff....this is aloo roti.... its different
