fried rice form the left over one

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings


    • 3 cups of left over rice
    • 1 medium size onion 
    • 3-4 garlic pods
    • 1/2 tps chilly powder
    • 1/4 turmeric
    • 3/4 curry leaves
    • asofedia pinch
    • 2 tps oil
    • salt 
    • corriender for garnishing

    Directions

    1. Cut the onion finely, Now in a kadai add oil, when hot add to it finely chopped garlic, when slightly brown add onions and curry leaves.
    2. fry onion till slightly golden, then add turmeric and chilly powder, asafoetida & salt to taste and the left over rice mix well and keep on slow flame for 10 mins. 
    3. Remove the lid and mix again, add chopped coriander.
    4. serve hot with pickle and roasted papad.
