Ready in minutes, ideal for idly, dosa, vadai, roti..just about anything.
Ingredients
vegetarian 2 servings
2 medium sized onions
2 medium sized tomatoes
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil for cooking
salt to taste
Directions
Heat oil in a kadai,add roughly chopped onions,when it changes color add gignger-garlic paste and saute for a while.
Now add tomatoes and saute for
another 4-5 minutes. Take off from stove and allow to cool.
After it cools make a fine paste of the above ingredients (in step 1) in a grinder.
Finally temper it with:
1 1/2 tbsp gingely oil
a few mustard seeds
2-3 whole dry red chillies
split urid dhall and a few curry leaves.
