Chicken Manchurian

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings

    chicken 1 kg vineger 4 tbs whitepepper 1 tbs ajinomoto 1 tbs soya sauce 2 tbs garlic paste 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp tomato paste 4 tbs tomato ketchup 6 tbs red chili grounded 3 tsp lemon juice 2 tsp salt to taste oil 2 tbs chicken stock 1 cup


    1. In chicken add lemon juice, soya sauce, ajinomoto salt ,white papper and vineger.
    2. Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken until water dries.
    3. Now add garlic and ginger paste. Saute it for 2 minutes.
    4. Now add tomato ketchup and a pinch of red food colour and cook for another 2 minutes.
    5. Add chicken stock and let it dry
    6. Serve it with rice.



    Good! I tried this recipe and it came out OK. The vinegar, lemon juice, tomato ketchup and tomato paste in the recipe made this dish too tarty/somewhat sour for me. Even the dish did not look very appetizing. I don't think that I will be making this dish ever again. Thank you.


    many people here have mentioned that it is curry not manchurian, what is the exact difference between them

    i think is it not manchurian because can not add ketchup is like chilli why u didinot add soya sauce & oyster is batter try it


    ok..i tried the recipe it was tasty..ok it might not be the actual manchurian recipe but it was tasty..n yes she forgot to mention when to add the puree but it does not make much of a tastes perfect even without it..atleast she posted a recipe.thanks Huma and please keep posting more recipes:)!



    well i tell u ajino ,oto is injurious for ur health if u use it in ur daily cooking,its proved by some food experts so u use ordinary salt in ur cooking



    its not the recipe of chicken manchurian,its simply chicken curry, chicken manchurian has boneless chicken.


    If we needed to use common sense for a recipe, then why put up any instructions at rude!

    i think this is not exact way of chicken manchurian. it more like a curry.


    wht are the health hazards of ajino moto ,can u plz tell me as i use it a lot in my ordinary dishes .


    Well,i find the recipe quite mouth makes less diffence if u add the tomato puree in the mid or the start....we are here to seek a different/unique taste of a meal not just conventional taste....


    are you not aware of the health hazards using ajinomoto? guys use regular salt


    i think its just a chicken curry not a manchuria and this is not the method to prepare chicken manchurian


    Well Mam, you have not mentioned in your recepi when to add the tomato puree and the ketchup! Are we suppose to guess it?


    In response to other comment. tomato sauce was added in at No. 4 and I am sure that you can improvise with the rest, it's called USE YOUR OWN COMMON SENSE!
