Chilli Potato

A delicious snack for tea time. Kids would love it.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 500 gm Potato
    • 2 tsp Garlic paste
    • 2 tsp Soya Sauce
    • 2 tsp Sugar
    • 2 tsp Vinegar
    • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
    • 3 tbsp Cornflour
    • Vegetable oil
    • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
    • 2 nos Onion ( finely chopped )
    • Salt (as required)
    • Pepper powder (as required)




    1. Peel off the skin of potatoes and cut it long in finger shape. Wash throughly.
    2. Into the cut potatoes, put salt, pepper powder and cornflour. Keep it aside for half an hour.
    3. In a frying pan, put some oil and put the marinated potatoes and fry till all the sides are golden brown.
    4. Drain the excess oil by putting the fried potatoes in a tishu paper.
    5. In the same frying pan, put 2 to 3 tbsp oil and put the chopped onion and garlic paste. Fry this for 1 minute.
    6. Put red chilli powder, soya sauce, sugar, vinegar and tomato ketchup in to the frying pan and mix well.
    7. When it is mixed properly, add the fried potatoes, mix well and serve it in a plate.
